Maria and George. Painted outside Athens, where vivid mountains lean toward the water. The colours were bright and open by the pool, the air still. George and Maria, just before their wedding, standing side by side and looking far ahead, observing what is coming. There is love here, quiet and committed. I gave them this painting during their wedding and cried like a baby as I watched them receive it. I find it beautiful how two young people choose each other without knowing much about the lives ahead of them. They are trusting love, stepping forward together. Quite and beautiful. The weather was hot and silent.

For my colour prints, I use a high-quality fine art paper that brings out rich, accurate colour while keeping a soft, matte look. Printed with 12-colour giclée technology, the details feel deep and vibrant without looking glossy or harsh.

The paper has a smooth, uncoated finish and a natural feel, making it easy on the eyes and lovely to live with. It’s thick, archival, and acid-free.

Shipping

Shipping is international and available to hundreds of countries worldwide. 

All prints are made to order. I partner with a credible, global printing provider who takes care of the entire process, including production, shipping, handling, and usually any customs procedures that may apply.

Orders shipped to the EU, UK, Norway, United States, Canada, Australia/New Zealand, and Singapore are sent DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). This means all duties and import taxes are already covered, so your package should arrive quickly with no additional fees required. For shipments to other countries, customs duties or import taxes may occasionally be charged by local authorities. These fees, if applied, are the responsibility of the customer. However, many customers in these regions still receive their orders without any additional payments, depending on local customs policies.

If your artwork arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me (hello@mattamasi.com) within 7 days and I’ll make it right. Shipping costs are kept reasonable and transparent, making the experience easy and straightforward from order to delivery.
