About the Original Piece

25 cm x 25 cm | Original ink sketch, drawn on location in Recife | This original piece may show minor imperfections from travel and the beach; the two punch holes on the left are from the sketchbook.

This was drawn on the day I moved back to Recife. I went to the beach alone to my usual spot. It was quiet, just a light breeze and the sound of the sea. I sketched while the sun was setting. A few people stopped and watched me draw. It felt calm and familiar, like being home again

About the Paper

The artwork is drawn on laid pearlescent paper (vergê madrepérola), characterized by a subtle linear texture and a soft, off-white tone with a slight pearlescent sheen. The surface is uncoated and lightly textured, allowing ink to sit clearly on the paper while maintaining crisp lines. The paper has a firm, stable feel and is suitable for pen and ink work.

The original pieces are very close to my heart. They live with me in Recife, Brazil, and each one is handled personally from start to finish. I carefully package every artwork myself to make sure it’s protected and travels safely.

Please allow up to one week for dispatch. Once the piece is on its way, I’ll send you a tracking link so you can follow the journey to your door.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location (Brazil is faster), but I always aim to select a shipping option that delivers within approximately 14 days whenever possible. Please note that delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed.
