A quiet Sunday evening under tropical rain. Sitting at a table at Casa do Pará, trying to get an açaí by the road while the rain kept falling. Water drops hit the page, smudging the sketch as I drew. Later finished with acrylic. Messy, melancholic, a little edgy. I love how rain invites thinking, the smell, the pause, the way everything slows down.

The original pieces are very close to my heart. They live with me in Recife, Brazil, and each one is handled personally from start to finish. I carefully package every artwork myself to make sure it’s protected and travels safely.
